Anonymous asked: You act like whites are more racist against blacks? If you gonna be racist against whites and speak about the differences, than you can explain the racism between the dark and light skinned blacks.

darvinasafo:

I don’t have to act. Racism is not a Black phenomenon. Stop confusing racism with racial bigotry. Black folks are not in a position to deny white folks, jobs, adequate education, financial resources, etc., based on race but white folks have the power to do so to us. That is racism.

Now if you’re calling me a racist, then I’m assuming it’s because I promote BLACK EXCELLENCE & BLACK EMPOWERMENT and for some reason that offends you. Now if I were to promote Black Superiority then, by definition you might have an argument. But that’s not the case.

If I share info of our Historical Greatness in the form of our leaders and messiahs, our spirituality, our empires, our intellectual innovations, that doesn’t make me racist, that makes me proud. The problem is you might feel a certain way because I expose the whitewashing of history from Egypt, to the Moors of Spain, to the Africans that settled in the Americas thousands of years before Europeans knew the World was round. The racist reaction would be to know all of this info, discard it and put a white face on it, and that includes the white jesus concept. Now that’s racist.

There is no racism between dark skinned and light skinned Black folks. There is a deep rooted self hate trauma that effects people in our group. But that’s just the product of 400 years of brainwashing at the hands of Americans Chattel Slavery System which caused Post-Traumatic Slave Disorders. The light skin vs. dark skin dynamic is one of the affects that came forth from the barbariasm we faced. Study the tactics, the torture, the rape of our men, women, and children during this time period and you’ll find why we suffer such ailments…

"Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity."
